Families / Community

Community Breakfast
On the 2nd Saturday from September – May from 8-10am we serve a hot, made to order breakfast in our downstairs Fellowship Hall. Enter off Church St. This event is provided by donation only. All proceeds cover the cost to host the breakfast, and any extra funds benefit either the Bluffton First Youth Group or a designated local family in need (medical expenses, funeral costs, etc).

Prayer Walk
Each Tuesday, a group of prayer warriors walks around Bluffton to pray over homes, businesses, and individuals. This is a powerful time of prayer and walking in faith. We testify that the Lord has used this time to touch the lives of our neighbors in the community. Join us at 8am to be part of the prayer walk.

Adults

Lamplighters Discipleship Group
All adults are welcome to join for prayer, fellowship and informal Bible study on Sunday mornings 9:15-10am in Room 3 of the Education Wing, September-May.

Tuesday Evening Bible Study
Looking for a more structured study? Tuesday evenings, adults are welcome to attend a Bible study led by Pastor Bob Clinger from 6:30-7:30pm. Contact the church office for details.

Women’s Circle
On one Saturday each month, adult women of the church are invited to attend a time of prayer, fellowship, and Bible study. Topics and meeting dates vary throughout the year. Childcare provided.

Youth

Weekday Christian Education Program
Weekly during the school year we host one of the longest running weekday Christian education programs in the country. Children from the neighboring Bluffton Elementary and Middle school are able to walk over during the school day and enjoy brief age appropriate Bible lessons.

Youth Group
Our Middle and High School Youth Group meets regularly during the school year. Past activities include: service projects, bible study, outreach, and fun outings in the community.

Kid’s Church
Elementary school aged children Kinder-5th are welcome to attend the Kid’s Church program. Kid’s Church follows a Christian curriculum for teaching the basics of the Christian Faith in a fun, encouraging atmosphere in our education wing just outside the main Sanctuary. Snacks are included. Kid’s Church is held during the school year from September – May. It is not available on Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month).

Faithline
Live music, food, and a guest speaker highlight the Faithline event, which are hosted regularly during the school year on Sunday evenings in our Sanctuary.

VBS
Each summer our congregation participates in a community VBS program, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association, and run by area churches. Time and location vary. Open to children from Pre-K through leaving 5th grade.
